In this class, we will review and build upon basic belly dance skills. This includes proper posture, safety tips, belly dance technique and drills, and dance movement, with a focus on combinations and original choreographies. You can also expect lecture/theory with notes, musicality, rhythm identification, with cultural relevance.
We begin the Winter session January 5 with Beyond Basic Drills and Skills as well as a fluid warm up. We will focus on Drum Solo Technique and Choreography on January 19.
This class is suitable for those with previous belly dance experience.
Classes Held on Tuesdays 7pm-8pm
