In 2023, they found each other on a facebook page for dancers over 50. In 2024, they got together in person for the first time in 46 years. They decided to perform a duet, performing for the first time in 47 years this past February at the Queen of Hearts Hafla. Now in their 70s, they have a combined belly dance experience of 100 years. Their performance today is cabaret - what is now known as vintage belly dance to most of you was contemporary belly dance for them.
