This is your opportunity to "be the star" and "shine bright" celebrating the Art of Belly Dance! We will have opportunities for shopping and dancing. We are looking forward to spending the afternoon with you.

Samara is the director of Troupe Khaleesee, whose members have been dancing together for years in venues such as the World Dance Shows at the Lancaster Ware Center, Franklin and Marshall’s World Events, and other venues that celebrate and honor other world cultures. Her classes are located in Lancaster, PA. She believes in the importance of dancing through life no matter your age.
Sue and Pat, based in the Harrisburg area, have performed American Cabaret Bellydance at haflas and festivals for many years. This duet known as "The
Golden Goddesses" bonded in their love for the music of Oriental Bellydance especially from the "Golden Era" of Bellydance. Today they will entertain you with a "twist on tambourine" to Bashra.

Originally from Puerto Rico, Anaya is a dance student in Northern Virginia with a deep passion for Egyptian folkloric styles. She is a member of Al-Massraweya and Raqs Sultana dance troupes. Anaya is thrilled to be making her debut performance in Pennsylvania.
Erin has been growing in her dance journey, taking classes from many teachers in PA and MD and currently dances with Lotus Sol in Frederick, MD. She loves exploring the different regional dance styles in MENAHT and how they relate to each other. She will be performing the first zill choreography she has created

Hilal Seo started dancing in Tokyo, Japan, where she performed in numerous shows. Since 2023, she has been studying with Toni Petroski, Director of Art in Motion Belly Dance studio in Harrisburg, PA. With a passion for traditional dances, she is also recently exploring fusion styles, drawing from her own experiences and background.
Deborah loves to explore all styles of dance. She is a member of Anam Cara and Lotus Sol, under the direction of Lindsey McCormick, and frequently joins Toni's Art in Motion classes.

In 2023, they found each other on a facebook page for dancers over 50. In 2024, they got together in person for the first time in 46 years. They decided to perform a duet, performing for the first time in 47 years this past February at the Queen of Hearts Hafla. Now in their 70s, they have a combined belly dance experience of 100 years. Their performance today is cabaret - what is now known as vintage belly dance to most of you was contemporary belly dance for them.

She teaches weekly classes in classic, modern and folkloric styles of Egyptian dance, both in person and online.
